Nurturing DISCIPLINE
- Uniform and dress – It is compulsory for the students to come neatly dressed in full school uniform as specified by the school.
- Students must reach school by 10:30 a.m. to attend the Morning Assembly at 10:50 a.m. without fail.
- The students must be very punctual and regular and must attend the assembly prayer daily. The school gate will close at 11a.m. sharp without fail. Any student reaching the school after 11 a.m. will be sent back home. School will not be responsible for the students left outside by the guardians once the gate closes at 11 a.m.
- Students are not allowed to leave the school before the scheduled time for departure. In case of emergency a written request from the guardian is necessary by contacting in person.
- Students of all classes from Nursery to Class-III are not allowed to leave the school until the identity cards are presented at the gate by their guardian/escort. Classes – IV-XII can go home on their own responsibilities.

- Books and Exercise Books must be neatly covered with brown paper provided by the school authority. They should also be correctly labelled.
- Office will remain open from 11.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m. only on school days.

- Applications for leave/absence are to be written by the guardian in the regularity record provided in the diary. It is to be produced to the class teacher for counter signature and medical certificate must be produced for absence of more than 3 days.
- Parent-teacher meeting in general will be held only when some changes will occur in the academic or administrative policies. Otherwise significance will be given to individual and personal parent-teacher meeting depending on the student wise requirement to make the guardian aware of the child’s progress and development. School will notify about such meeting in the school diary as per requirement. Regarding this, parent’s co-operation is required.
- Parents may also use only the working Saturdays (except 3rd and 5th) for the purpose (11 a.m. to 1 p.m.) to meet with the class teacher or subject teachers to clear their doubts regarding child oriented matters. School will remain open on 2nd, 4th and 5th Saturdays for remedial classes (as per requirement) and individual parent - teacher meeting. School will remain closed on 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.
- If a parent wants to know or discuss about any problem regarding the child, he / she can meet the Principal, Vice-Principal by taking prior appointment.
- During school hours, students are not allowed to meet any visitors or to make or answer any phone calls. If the matter is urgent, the message will be conveyed. Hence, parents are requested to provide a contact number that is always and readily available.
- Students should not carry any expensive stuff or wear valuable accessories / ornaments when coming to school. The school is not responsible for any loss of goods or money. Students are liable to serious disciplinary action for stealing or damaging the articles of others.
- Students are not allowed to go home before departure timing for any reason except in case of sudden illness or accident.
- Sick children will not be accepted even on days of worksheet/ class test etc. For terminal exams, special arrangement will be made on prior permission and request in person.
- For classes Nursery – VIII school’s woollen sweater (half or full) & for class IX onwards blazer is compulsory during winter months.
- If a student misbehaves, he/she is liable to rectifications. Still after several warnings, if the child does not rectify his/her mistake, then the authority is compelled to expel him/her from the school to avoid any kind of harm to other students. Hence, promotion to the next higher class does not depend only on his / her academic performance. In this case, management’s decision is final and binding. In case of expulsion, no remission of fees is allowed.
- Ball-point pen (black or blue) should be used by the students from class V onwards for writing purpose and there should be no use of whiteners or correction tapes.
- Any written work done in the class may or may not be corrected / returned to the students (depending on the situations). Hence, surprise Tests / Exams will be based on everything done (both oral and written) in the class and so retaining of the copies if required should not have any impact on the performance of the students in the exams.
- The school always tries to ensure the safety of the students.
- Students are not allowed to use of Mobile Phones within the School Premises. If any student found using mobile phone inside the school campus, strict disciplinary action will be taken against him/her.
Expectations from PARENTS
- Parents are requested to check the school diary every day, especially for any late arrival, uniform etc.
- Parents are expected to co-operate with the school authorities in matters of regularity and discipline.
- Parents are requested to attend the parent teachers meeting held by the school.
- If a student is absent for more than three consecutive days on medical grounds, an application is required to be submitted to the principal.
- Parents are requested to communicate through the communication pages provided in the school diary. Interaction with the school authority is welcomed by taking prior appointment.
- Parents are expected to do their part by inculcating values, regular work and study habits in their children. Preparation of lessons according to the class time table must be maintained and supervised by the parents.
- Parents are requested to update the school authorities regarding student’s illness or chronic ailment.
- Parents or guardians are not allowed to see their children or speak with teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal.
- The parents/guardians are liable for the payment of fine for any damage to the school property by the students.
- Parents are to ensure their children to have breakfast before leaving for School. They are to give their children a dry snack for their lunch break. Buying eatables from the street vendors is forbidden.
- Parents are requested not to take their children on vacation before the set date and not to extend these vacations. A list of holidays for the current year is printed in the diary. All are expected to attend school on the last day before each vacation and the reopening day after each vacation.
- Parents and guardians must keep in touch with the school’s Notice Board for certain information changes that might occur from time to time.
- Parents and students must comply with the requirements and regulations of the school.
