Welkin National School - ‘The School for Tomorrow’ came into existence at Baruipur with all vigour and vitality to grow by leaps and bounds with the new generation that is bubbling with life to flourish in the present world of high technology. It has been founded on 12th Jan, 2004, the holy birth date of Swami Vivekananda having hundreds of blossoming students in its very first session.

Welkin National School is completely enlightened by Swamiji's true value of life and endeavours working tirelessly to kindle the light of Knowledge - the ultimate source of strength. Its commitment towards academic excellence and affiliation to CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations), New Delhi has been successfully achieved within a record short span of time. These achievements have been a great joy to every body because in this manifestation lies the spirit and endeavour of teachers and staff members who willingly, devotedly, affectionately and tirelessly supported the school to achieve where it has reached today.

Simultaneously, the total process was successful and possible only because of constant cooperation and support from all the guardians and many others from every walk of life in and around Baruipur from the very beginning of its journey towards the goal.

Hence, Welkin National School thanking all associates uptill now, once again announces its ever awaited achievement of getting affiliation to CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations), New Delhi for both ICSE and ISC (10+2) Examinations, in no time.

To meet up with all the aspirations and expectations of today and tomorrow, Welkin National School stands with its head held high at Baruipur near Rashmath with its spacious infrastructure and all facilities including play-field, garden, rides, courtyard, etc showing remarkable dynamism to move with the time. That is why school has also introduced the digital or smart classes.
